This is an animation I did for my multimedia class at school. I think I made it sometime in November of last year. The assignment was just to draw a character in a walk cycle; obviously I went a little above and beyond that requirement. XP
Anyways, it's Kobal! We had a list of several walk cycles we could try, and one of them was a "sneak". I immediately thought of my lovely little blue-haired thief. :3 This was made in ToonBoom and I have no clue on how to code in Flash, so sorry it constantly loops. XD
I actually won an award for this, which was pretty cool. I feel like I could do a LOT better than this if I really tried, but I completed the assignment and I got to show off while doing so, which was nice. And I now have a nice purple ribbon for my efforts! Plus my teacher and classmates were fairly blown away, which is another plus. I really loved that class.
Is that the whole song, or is there more? 'Cause it's really catchy. XD Very nice animation! You said you used ToonBoom? My sister just downloaded the trial version of that...I'll point her towards this, then!

Thanks a lot!! Yeah, the background is way, way too plain. I feel like I could do a lot better than this if I really tried. But since it was for class and I was on a time limit...
But yeah. I'll keep trying~

There's more to the song, but it's still only about a minute and a half long. Want me to email it to you? :3
ToonBoom is great if all you want to do is animate, not fiddle with ActionScript and all sorts of other confusing and unnecessary stuff Flash uses. x__x I like it a lot!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
